It’s a fact of life. Carter Grange has the know-how to design and build stunning homes, while Jetmaster has the expertise to design and install beautiful, functional fireplaces to add warmth in spaces where needed. So how did two market leaders come together to support the Nicholas Timms Foundation?
Nicholas Timms was just 21 months old when he passed away from cancer. His parents Michael and Belinda wanted to honour their son, and in his memory started the foundation to help families and their children going through this difficult journey.
They envisaged a hobby farm with a twin dormitory design. One that could house two families at a time, with a shared common room and kitchen facilities. A retreat, where families of children with cancer could stay to relax, re-connect and bond.
In the verdant peaceful surrounds of the town of Healesville, (located in the scenic Yarra Valley), 52 kms northeast of Melbourne’s CBD, Carter Grange is making dreams come true constructing the Nicholas Timms Healesville Retreat.
Along with an army of trusted tradies and suppliers, the project is well underway. Live time lapse photography shows the progress of the build.
Jetmaster is proud to be associated with the Healesville Retreat, and to show support are donating and installing a top-of-the-range premium SLRX gas heater.
The package is valued at $10,000 and will add much needed warmth and comfort to guests at the retreat on those chilly and crisp Healesville evenings.
Internal lockup is scheduled for early August with plastering commencing later this month.
Carter Grange and Jetmaster look forward to ongoing collaborations, and the opening of the Nicholas Timms Retreat for children with cancer and their loved ones to enjoy.
