The model and serial number are vital when trying to book any type of service or warranty call.
The best place to locate this information is on the front cover of the Owner’s Manual that was provided with the fireplace.
If you do not have this, in some cases you may be able to access the gas controls via the Servicing access panel at the base of the unit.
On a Heat & Glo open the access panel and look for a white/silver sticker – the model and serial number will be displayed near the barcode for the fireplace.
On a Jetmaster, access the gas controls by removing the lower draw and look for the metal compliance plate – the model number will be indented.
The final option for locating this information is your purchase invoice – the Model number will always be displayed here.
